Role-model
art direction + photography
This poster is representative of the hazards faced by the MTV generation. A generation whose heroes aren't firemen and professors, but shallow, coke-fueled materialistic celebrities who are glorified by mainstream media to look like young gods. This poster was featured in the "Standards of Beauty" poster exhibition that is now on permanent display inside the Hubert-Robeson gallery at Penn State.

aiga's bordo bello skateboard auction
found object design
For a few weeks, Dan Feldman and I began to store up all of the negative newspaper headlines we could find. Using headlines and body copy, this skateboard tells a story about the media's portrayal of our country and world. We then auctioned this at AIGA's Bordo Bello Charity Skateboard Auction. I'd like to thank Mark Stevens for the great pictures and a lively photo shoot.

zher & cates save the date
design + illustration
To contrast their formal invitations, Laura and Jordan wanted a gig-poster-inspired-postcard. To give it that extra-personal touch, the flowers seen here are the flowers used in the wedding. Since the newlyweds are earth friendly, printing this with soy-inks and 100% post-consumer paper was the only way to go.
