American Crew Style Lookbook
To promote American Crew's two new product lines, we created an invertible look book for the salon waiting room. Each side of the book tells a contrasting story that corresponds with one of the product lines. Using color-treated photos and short headlines, the book doesn't just sell a hairstyle, it sells a lifestyle.
You can view more of the photoshoot and art direction by checking out the American Crew facebook page, under the Boost and Curl tabs.

Black And Read Identity
A hipster's second-hand dream - this store is teeming with rare treasures - you just have to find them. This identity solution is representative of the store's haphazard shelves, which hold rare books to vintage LPs and everything in between.

American Crew New Folk Technical Guide
This guide gives stylists all the tools they need to create the new, trendy cuts that are featured. It serves as on-site tool, so the book had to be durable and able to lie flat. The stock is a semi-plastic fiber, which can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. To get the book to lie flat on a stylists work station, a durable spiral bind was chosen. I opted to cut out sections of the spiral bind to cut back on materials and give the book added style, without sacrificing functionality.
