yamaha still ads
direction + design
To show off the new Yamaha 2009 line, I designed these half-page ads. The copy highlights the new product features in an oil soaked, testosterone fueled approach. Photographs from Yamaha.

laced up shopping bag
design + production
Created for a trendy shoe boutique; this design functions as both a bag to carry, and a visual communicator of the voguish brand. The handle of this bag is constructed of a comfortable cotton lace, which integrates into the image of the shoe when being carried or placed on the ground. The bag is sealed using a lock and fold method to avoid the cost of extra adhesives.

black and read stationery system
design
A hipster's second-hand dream - this store is teeming with rare treasures - you just have to find them. This identity solution is representative of the store's haphazard shelves, which hold rare books to vintage LPs and everything in between.

exposure identity system
design + photography
Identity system for Exposure, a boutique mag with a focus on the urban art and photography scene. To compliment
the used photography, the typography utilizes a "less is more" approach - enhancing the communication and legibility within each piece. The masthead logo is intentionally cropped to stand as a metaphor for an artist's eye; and more simply the process of finding, and taking a photograph.

lemonsoul logo
design + illustration
Lemonsoul is an indy band, mixing hopeful jams with downtrodden grooves. The type mimics musical notes floating around a young, struggling tree that is blossoming two sour lemons. The metaphorical contrast within the logo plays off of the band's style of intense guitars and melodious, soft vocals. The other image shown would be the logo in use, acting as a weekly gig poster to promote the band when I wasn't around to help!
